The agreement.

This is between Predictive, of Montréal, Québec, Canada, and the company that signs up to use Concord. Where a person accepts this on a company’s behalf, they confirm they are allowed to.

Concord is invitation-only at present. An invitation is for one company and does not transfer.

Concord reads facts from the systems you connect, and each day its departments propose actions and vote on each other’s proposals against rules you set. What clears those rules may be carried out; what does not, is not. Everything is written to a sealed record you can check.

Nothing acts until you switch it on. Connecting a system grants nothing by itself. Each kind of action — reaching customers, moving money — is switched on separately and deliberately, and can be switched off the same way.

The rules you set

The amount above which a person must approve, and what your departments may touch. They are yours to choose and yours to live with.

What you switch on

An action that can happen is one you allowed. Switching money on is a decision, and it is yours.

Who may sign

The people you put on that list can approve anything up to your limits. Keep it current.

The systems you connect

That you are entitled to connect them, and that the sign-in you use is yours to use.

What you approve

A person's signature is a person's decision. We record it; we do not second-guess it.

Most agreements of this kind disclaim everything. That would be dishonest here. The product is a promise about behaviour, so we make the promise narrow and mean it.

We are responsible for the gate behaving as documented. An action outside the limits you set will not be carried out. An action requiring a signature will wait for one. An action a department has no business proposing will be refused. If the gate ever lets through something your rules forbade, that is our defect, and we want to hear about it before anybody else does.

We are not responsible for whether a decision was commercially wise. Concord can propose chasing an invoice that did not need chasing, or hold a payment that should have gone. It reasons from the facts your systems give it, and those can be wrong, stale or incomplete. That is why anything irreversible reaches a person, and why the limits are yours to set.

Where an AI model is switched on, it can propose different things on the same facts from one day to the next. We promise nothing about what it proposes. What we do promise is that the gate treats what it says as a proposal, and never as permission.

Concord does not hold your money and is not a payment institution. Where it settles a bill, it does so through a payment connection you set up yourself, on your own account, under limits you set. A payment is only ever made against an order the gate approved and a delivery somebody confirmed.

Fees for Concord itself, if any, will be agreed with you in writing before they apply. Nothing on this page creates a charge.

We do not promise Concord will be available at any particular level. It runs a cycle once a day; a day that is missed is a day nothing was decided, not a day something was decided badly.

If a connection fails, Concord reads fewer facts and says so. It does not invent facts to fill the gap, and it will not carry out an action on data it could not read. That is the intended behaviour, not a failure of it.

Neither side is liable to the other for knock-on losses, lost profits, or lost business. What we owe you, for everything together, is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you have paid us nothing, the cap is one hundred Canadian dollars.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Your data stays yours. We hold it to run the service and for nothing else — see the privacy page, which is part of this agreement, and the list of who else sees it. You can export your record and ask us to delete it. The one thing we cannot do is edit it, for the reason set out there.

You can stop using Concord at any time — disconnect your systems and ask us to delete your company. We will, and we will confirm when it is done.

We may end this if it is used to break the law, or to reach systems you are not allowed to reach. We may also end it if your use puts other customers at risk. Where we can give notice first, we will.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Québec have jurisdiction.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Questions go to charles@predictive.company.
